Privacy policy
Effective October 7, 2026
Polymer Inc. ("Polymer," "we," "us") designs and builds websites for startups, scale-ups and churches, and looks after them on monthly plans. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this site, book a call or work with us, and what we do with it.
The short version
- This site doesn't use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies of its own.
- When you book a call, the details you enter go to our scheduling provider so we can hold it.
- We use what you share to talk with you and to do the work. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
What we collect
When you visit this site. Our hosting provider processes the technical information any website needs to load and stay secure: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and when. We don't use it to identify you or build a profile of you.
When you book a call. Your name, email address, the time you pick, your time zone and anything you add to the booking form, such as your organization and what you need. Our scheduling provider, Cal.com, collects this for us.
When we work together. What you share with us on calls, by email and in messages; contact and billing details for invoices; and the content, files and account access you give us for your project, such as access to your website platform, content management system, hosting or connected tools.
How we use it
- To reply to you and hold the calls you book
- To scope, price, design, build, launch and support your site, and to run your monthly plan
- To send invoices and keep financial records
- To keep this site and our systems working and secure
- To meet our legal obligations
We don't make automated decisions about you, and we don't sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies
This site doesn't set cookies of its own and doesn't use analytics or advertising trackers. When you open the booking calendar, it loads from Cal.com, which may set the cookies it needs to run the scheduler. Those are covered by Cal.com's privacy policy.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers who help us run our business, and only so they can do that work:
- Website hosting (Vercel)
- Scheduling (Cal.com)
- Email, file sharing and project management tools
- Payment processing and accounting
- The platforms your site is built on or connected to, such as Webflow, Vercel, Planning Center, YouTube or your CRM, when you ask us to work in them
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of Polymer, our clients or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
Information in your systems
When we work inside your website, content management system or connected tools, we may see personal information about your own visitors, members or customers, such as form submissions or event registrations. We use it only to do the work you've asked for, follow your instructions, keep it confidential, and don't keep it longer than the work requires. You remain responsible for that information and for your own privacy notice.
How long we keep it
We keep booking details and correspondence for as long as we need them to talk with you. We keep project and billing records for as long as we work together, and after that for as long as tax, accounting and legal requirements call for. Then we delete them or make them anonymous.
How we protect it
We limit access to the people who need it to do the work, use services with strong security, and look after the account access you give us. No way of storing or sending information is completely secure, but we work hard to protect yours, and we'll tell you if a breach affects you, as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- See the personal information we hold about you and get a copy
- Correct it, or ask us to delete it
- Object to or limit how we use it
- Withdraw consent you've given
To make a request, email us at the address below. We'll respond within the time the law requires, may need to confirm who you are first, and won't treat you differently for asking.
If you're in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these grounds: taking steps before a contract with you and carrying it out (booking calls and doing your project), our legitimate interests in running and securing our business, our legal obligations, and your consent where we ask for it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Where we process it
Polymer is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
Children
This site and our services are meant for organizations and aren't directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their personal information.
Other websites
This site links to client websites and third-party services, which have their own privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll let current clients know.
