Terms of service
Effective October 7, 2026
These terms cover your use of this website and the services Polymer Inc. ("Polymer," "we," "us") provides. If we sign a proposal, statement of work or other agreement with you, that agreement wins wherever it differs from these terms.
Using this site
- You're welcome to browse and share this site. Please don't try to disrupt it, get into areas you're not meant to, or copy its design, code or content for your own commercial use.
- Prices, timelines and plan details on this site describe how we usually work and can change. Your price and launch date are confirmed in writing for your project.
- Client work shown here belongs to us or to our clients, and is shown with permission.
Website builds
Scope and price. Every build has a fixed price agreed before work starts. Sprint, Campaign and Core builds are priced on the intro call. Custom builds get a fixed quote after a scoping call. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted before we do it.
Payments. Sprint and Campaign builds are paid upfront. Core builds are paid half to start and half when you approve the design. Custom builds are paid in three parts: at the start, at design approval and at launch.
Timeline. Sprint and Campaign builds launch in 30 days and Core builds in 60. Custom builds get a launch date before we start. The clock starts once we have your content and the access we need, and late content, feedback or approvals move the launch date.
Revisions. Each build includes set meetings and two rounds of design revisions. Further rounds are quoted before we do them.
What we need from you. Your content, brand assets, account access and timely feedback. You confirm you have the rights to everything you give us, and that using it on your site is lawful.
Launch support. For 30 days after launch, if anything we built breaks, we fix it at no extra cost. This doesn't cover new features or changes in scope, or problems caused by third-party services, platform changes or edits made by others.
Monthly plans
- Plans are billed monthly and run month to month. You can cancel anytime, and your plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for.
- Plan hours reset each month and don't roll over. In a busy month you can add 5-hour blocks for $1,000 each. We'll tell you when you're close to your hours, and we never charge for extra hours without your OK.
- Turnaround times are targets we work to, not guarantees.
- If your site has integrations we maintain, such as Planning Center, YouTube or a CRM, a monthly plan is required after launch support, because that's how we keep them working.
Hosting and other services
Hosting is billed to you directly by the platform, such as Webflow or Vercel, with no markup from us. Your site may rely on other third-party services too. We're not responsible for their outages, changes, pricing or terms, though we'll help you through them on your plan.
Who owns what
- Once you've paid in full, you own the final design, code and content we create for your site.
- We keep ownership of the tools, code, components and methods we had before your project or use across clients, and you get a permanent license to use any of them that are part of your site.
- Fonts, stock images, plugins and platforms keep their own licenses.
- Unless you ask us not to, we may show your finished site and your name in our portfolio and marketing.
Confidentiality
We keep your non-public business information, accounts and data confidential and use them only for your project. We ask the same of you for our non-public pricing, methods and work in progress.
Invoices
Prices are in US dollars and don't include taxes, which are yours to pay where they apply. If an invoice goes unpaid, we may pause work until it's paid.
Ending a project
Either of us can end a build with written notice. You pay for the work done up to that point, and we hand over the work you've paid for.
Warranties and liability
We do our work carefully and professionally. Beyond what these terms say, this site and our services are provided as is, without other warranties, to the extent the law allows.
We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about our services is limited to what you paid us for those services in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
You agree to cover us for claims that arise from content or materials you provide, or from how you use your site.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and changes don't affect agreements already signed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in the United States where Polymer Inc. is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
